Daryl Baldwin a 2016 MacArthur Fellow

Daryl Baldwin, Director of the Myaamia Center, has been named a 2016 MacArthur Fellow by the MacArthur Foundation. This award is a wonderful recognition of what a tribal community is capable of when empowered by the revitalization of their language and culture, and supported collaboratively by an institution that bears their name — Miami University. Compassion and respect have been at the heart of this healing effort since its inception.
